Description

The Hi-Way is a solar powered 15W PIR motion sensor light with a high output of 1600 lumens.

Designed to provide safety and security in darkness, this LED PIR solar light emits a wide spread of light, making it an ideal choice for use along pathways and patio areas.

For the first five hours of darkness, the light remains constantly on at 50% brightness. When motion is detected within eight metres, the light illuminates at full brightness. After 20 seconds of no motion being detected, the light will return to 50% brightness.

After five hours (or with less than 30% battery capacity), the light illuminates at full brightness when motion is detected within 8 metres. Following 20 seconds of no movement being detected, the light will reduce to 50% brightness. After five minutes, the light will turn off until movement is detected again.

The Hi-Way solar powered PIR light has a large polycrystalline (silicon) solar panel, which allows for more sunlight to be absorbed, generating more electricity. The light’s high-capacity lithium ion batteries store the absorbed energy until required.

With sufficient sunshine, this light’s long-life LEDs will continue to illuminate throughout the night, 365 days a year.

This light is supplied with three types of mounting bracket. The arm/surface mount bracket is for simple mounting onto a wall or flat post. The pole adaptor allows clamp mounting around a pole to create a solar streetlight. Or alternatively, this light can be fixed to a wall or flat post using the galvanised steel bracket.
